Proponents of intelligent design and creationism: How do you define God?

I agree with some aspects of these philosophies (I find it highly improbable that the world was birthed from a bunch of random accidents within the realm of matter), but a lot of activists behind these theories would make it out to seem that it is God from the Christian bible (you know the mean ole geezer up in the sky watching your every move) behind this process. What do others within the intelligent design/creationist community think?
