If possible, what would be the best way to travel through space within seconds?

I have seen a lecture tape with Bob Lazar who was talking abut his time working in area51 trying to back engineer recovered UFOs and he was saying the way non-human intelligence travel through large amounts of space in seconds is to bend time. Almost like you would bend a straw, both ends are far apart but when you bend it you bring it together. Are there other ways of doing this?
