First time selling through Amazon.?

I put up a phone i wanted to sell... The phone is an android that is bricked (i mentioned that in the description). i emailed the buyer to double check they understood this. the buyer hasnt replied.(i sent the email about 5 days ago. Supposedly the buyer paid for the item but my account remains empty. What do i do? i know theres a settlement period of 14 days. should i wait till then to see if my money is there and ship the item or send it now and trust that amazon will credit me after the 14 days are up?
