Psp screen fades white after sleep?

i have a psp 1001 and it has CFW on it. it works just fine until i start a game. the game works fine but when i put the psp to sleep and then turn it back on the screen is faded white and its really hard to see the game but its still there. its not the CFW because i have it on another psp and it works fine on that one and its not the game because i tried the games on my other psp. i just changed the screen because it was broken. it only does this while playing a game and i can put it to sleep on the main menu and it will work fine. it also works at the very beginning of games when it is showing the companys that helped make the game. any help is appreciated thanks.
