My fringe is dead, what do i do? What shampoo/conditioner should i use? Hair wont spike properly?

My buddy in high school use to have a mo-hawk,he actually used Elmer's glue to make his mo-hawk stand up. It was and is the best mo-hawk I've ever seen.
