My friend and i have a crush on the same guy and my friend is in a wheelchair!Help! ?

My friend (lets call her "jess") and me (lets call me "T") MAY have a crush on the same guy, but it's pretty complicated. My friend has been in a wheel-chair since birth, due to oxygen complications. She is not very sensitive about it, but most people are afraid to ask her about her wheel-chair situation. and anyways, (i know this doesn't sound very nice but it's the truth) most people at my school are her friend out of pity and it's kinda like a social-taboo-crazy-kind-of-thing where if you hurt her or her feelings at our school everyone will hate you because they love her. And they WILL hate you in that sort of crazy-type-of-i'm-gonna-kill-you-type-wa… and so anyways, me and her may or may not like the same guy (codename 5.) Now 5 is a really sweet and sort of cute in a way. He is the president of our school, and friends with everyone. Jess and him have been friends since grade school and i got introduced to him by jess, coincidentally. he likes me, or he may in the future if he doesn't already, but has no interest in jess other than a friend. Jess thinks she may or may not like him, but i think she really doesn't, she just likes the IDEA of him and the popularity and social acceptance he could bring her, and make her happy. Now i think I KNOW that i like him (5), but i liked this other guy this year as well (but trust me, i don't anymore, i found out he was a gang member.groooss!). alright now, i think i may really like him and possibly have a relationship with him. I also think my parents would approve of him, but woudn't approve of hurting my friend, jess, because , as everybody does, they love her. and i think friends come first...............but still he's so sweet and cute and every time i think of him i get eryflies...and a stomache. So should i go for him, be hated by the rest of the school and break my friends heart, or stay away and let him slide me by???? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
