Could hormones in animal products have an effect on ity?

Okay, if all it took was to absorb the opposite hormones, we would all be gay (or no people, because no hetero ). If this is true, why do gay people need so much "hormone therapy" before a change. It's an interesting theory, but unlikely to be true.
