Catholics, Evangelicals, JW's, Protestants, Jews, what happens to those that do not know?

what happens to someone who would love God and the truth with all his heart, if he has a chance to know? He lives in a very remote area, is a good man, and has always loved his understanding of God. But he has never seen someone who believes as you. so...what will happen to him when he dies?
